Hey, I’m Lisa

I moved into the mortgage industry after spending a year in a bank management training program. I started as an Inside Account Executive, but I quickly moved on to an outside sales role in northern New Jersey. I've been in the business in one role or another for more than 30 years now, and I truly believe that mortgage is a great career move for anyone, but especially young women.

For me, Dave Dillard was the key to joining the Atlantic Bay team. He always reached out with support and advice, and I always said that Dave had an uncanny way of sending me a message when I was stressed out at my previous job. Eventually, I was hooked.

Everything was out of my comfort zone initially, spending the last 15 years as a Sales Leader for another mortgage company. I had to lean into all the amazing development tools that Atlantic Bay provides, especially in growing my brand and social media presence. Nobody in this industry promotes and inspires growth like Atlantic Bay. Today, I'm excited to be a part of growth opportunities like Sherpa Training and the Maxwell Leadership Book Club.

I'm lucky enough to have the opportunity to assist our local lenders as the President-Elect for the Charlotte Regional Mortgage Lenders Association (CRMLA) and with the Mortgage Bankers Association of the Carolinas, Inc. (MBAC). Before the pandemic, I was a board member and one of the original founders of the National Association of Professional Mortgage Women (NAMPW) here in Charlotte.

I also like to stay involved with Dress For Success Charlotte, a nonprofit organization I've supported over the years through clothing drives, working in their "showroom," and collecting monetary donations. Plus, you can find me at many of the Roc Solid builds and helping other local charities during Atlantic Bay's Week of Service.

I'm married to my wonderfully supportive husband Chuck, and we have two grown twin sons named Connor and Patrick. In my downtime, I enjoy Pilates and going out with friends for dinner or wine tastings.
